John Winter stocks a wide range of Pattern Shop supplies. The range of products includes various density model board, fast cast resins that can also bond sheets of model board together for large pattern builds. To bulk out fast cast resins we have 2 types of filler.
We also supply sanding sealer, pattern paints and release agents for fast cast resins. Also in stock are various size and grades of sanding discs and sand papers.

Z15 Release Agent
Release for Fast Cast Resin
Z15 is probably the best fast cast resin release agent on the market. It produces a slip plane between the resin and pattern so duplicates and resin copies off patterns, release easily.

W80/ W70 Wax Release Agent
Release for Fast Cast Resin
W80 and W70 are very effective release agents for fast cast resins.
W80 has a lower wax solids content, 6%. Leaves very few impressions on fast cast resin.
W70 has a higher wax solids content of 16% to aid strip. Especially good for hard to remove, fast cast resin duplications. Will leave some surface marks on resin mould surface.

Annealed Core wire is malleable so it can be easily bent into complex shapes to fit inside narrow coreboxes and also placed inside deep 'pockets' on patterns to help moulds 'strip' successfully.

Steel Wire Pins are excellent for strengthening thin cores where sand strength alone will not prevent a core from breaking during casting.
